A strong showing in a recent triangular meet has propelled an Itasca Viking to Wrestler-of-the-Week honors in the most recent coaches voting for the MCAC Wrestling season.
Ethan Kiehm of Itasca Community College has been selected as the MCAC Wrestler of the Week for Week Four of the 2017-18 season.
Kiehm, from Minneapolis, recorded two falls during Itasca's triangular meet with Minnesota West and Iowa Lakes on Tuesday, Nov. 21. Kiehm's win by fall over McKinley Bush was one of three pins for the Vikings in their 31-30 tiebreaker victory over Minnesota West. Kiehm's other fall came against Micah Harris-Bright of Iowa Lakes, in the Vikings 33-18 loss to the Lakers.
