Shane Siewert, the No. 1 ranked 174 lb. NJCAA wrestler in the nation, will lead his Rochester Community & Technical College squad and four other Minnesota College Athletic Conference wrestling programs into the 2018-19 NJCAA Wrestling Championships to be held this weekend (March 1-2) in Counicl Bluffs, Iowa.
Minnesota West CTC,Itasca Community College, Northland Community & Technical College and Ridgewater College all will join RCTC to send contenders to the end-of-season event. For the full list of MCAC qualifiers, click here.
Siewert will look to survive and advance four rounds of competition to become the National Champion; he leads off with a first round match-up with Adrian Cervantes of Joliet Junior College.

Rochester was placed 8th in the final NJCAA Top 20 poll to conclude the regular season; fellow MCAC program Itasca Community College earned 'Receiving Votes' status as well.
